Updated Newcastle United squad numbers after Joselu signing
There were Newcastle United squad numbers announced on Friday.
The game against Tottenham on Sunday, meant the club could leave it no longer to give players numbers ahead of that game.
This Wednesday morning saw Joselu become the sixth signing of the summer and he has now been handed his squad number.

The Mag – 13 August 2017:
The Newcastle United squad numbers couldn’t wait any longer.
On Friday the club announcing that 28 players had been handed numbers ahead of the Tottenham match today.
Of course everything could change in the remaining days of this month, with players almost certain to be leaving and arriving.
One thing we did have confirmed though, all things being equal (no injuries etc), was that Tim Krul, Emmanuel Riviere and Achraf Lazaar definitely have no future her – not even handed a squad number.
This despite the likes of Henri Saivet and Massadio Haidara being named amongst those given the 28 Newcastle United squad numbers.
You can only name 25 senior Premier League players in your squad once the transfer window ends, only Mikel Merino and Freddie Woodman qualify as Under 21 players (born on or after 1 January 1996), so at least one of the other 26 given squad numbers wouldn’t be able to be included.
This of course is also without any new signings arriving which would mean others needing to give way as well.
I can still see a fair few twists and turns before this month is out, interesting to revisit the Newcastle United squad numbers then…
