Newcastle v Nottingham Forest tickets – Watch out for tickets doubling in price if leave it late
Newcastle v Nottingham Forest tickets went on sale to season ticket holders on Monday, then members on Tuesday, now today (Wednesday) they are opened up to the general public.
The game is next Wednesday 23 August with a kick-off of 7.45pm.
Prices have been set at a reasonable £10 for adults and £5 concessions but just as NUFC did last year for cup games, as well as the pre-season friendly against Hellas Verona, these prices double if you leave it until the day of the match.
The game will see a quick return for Daryl Murphy after his summer move for £2m to Forest.
He has hit the ground running and followed up a goal in the 4-3 win at Brentford, with a goal last night in a 2-1 defeat at Barnsley, making it two goals in three Championship matches for his new club.
Daryl Murphy wasn’t involved when Forest beat Shrewsbury in the last round but difficult to see him not involved next Wednesday night at St James Park, when he will undoubtedly get a decent reception after doing well whenever called upon last season for Newcastle.
Newcastle United official announcement:
