I hate to say it but if we can`t get some sort of result against a team that was 3rd bottom of the league then we`re in trouble

    • Clarko

Wolfsburg finished 5th in 13/14, 2nd in 14/15 and 8th in 15/16 just to add some perspective.

    • Steve Smith

If they can’t get a result against a team that was in the second tier a few weeks ago then they’re in trouble.

Where do you think Mainz finished?

  • rickyd

haha must be gutted if you have to work and miss the toon match. Cannit wait to watch this

  • Andy Mac

If you cant see the game on TV, alternatively try sticking red hot pins in your eyeballs just so you get the chance to relive the whole matchday experience ? 🤔

    • Andy Mac

No need for pins today ? Rafa started with his strongest team albeit without Gayle and then let the “pretenders” join in later

    “Great News”?

What utter shyte – you can’t watch the match unless its on a free to view site, even then it might not be on. Anyway I usually don’t bother with pre-season games as I find them sadly lacking in Premiership atmosphere. I know this sounds disloyal and deprives me of a chance to see our new players but for me nothing beats a proper points-earning game of football.
