A bonus for Newcastle United fans this week as they will get the chance to watch live their young stars in the making.

The Super Cup NI is taking place this week in Northern Ireland and the Premier Section for Under 17s sees NUFC playing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, which will then dictate who they will play on Thursday and then potentially Friday when the finals are held.

The games can be watched via the BBC Sport Website and 11 matches in total are scheduled so far.

The first match on today will be a Women’s Under-19 match between Wales and Northern Ireland at 12 noon, followed by Beijing Morning Star United v Co Tyrone (17:00) and Newcastle United v Co Antrim (19:30).

Newcastle United then also feature live on Tuesday at 17.00 v Chinese side Beijing Morning Star Utd, before finishing their group matches with another live game on Wednesday (19.00) against Japanese outfit Komazawa Uni.

Apart from Monday’s women’s fixture, the live group matches are from the Premier Section for Under 17s, followed by one of Thursday’s semi-finals.

On Friday, the finals of the Premier and the Under 15 Junior Section can also be seen live on the BBC Sport website.

Good luck to all the young Newcastle lads taking part.
