Back in October (2016) Rolando Aarons was one of nine people arrested at 3am at Livello bar/nightclub which is on Dean Street, just up from Newcastle Quayside.

The police confirmed that a major disturbance had broken out and one person was taken to hospital, whilst nine were arrested.

The fight was reported to have started when Rolando Aarons went ‘berserk’ with a group of men who were dancing and ‘bumping and grinding’ with his auntie, then started filming it.

Now three men, including Rolando Aarons, two aged 21 and one aged 22, and two women aged 23 and 45, have been summonsed for the offence of violent disorder.

Two other men, aged 22 and 23, have been summonsed for the offences of violent disorder and assault.

All seven have been granted bail and will appear before Newcastle Magistrates’ Court on April 4.

At the time of the incident Rolando Aarons was working his way back to fitness from his then latest injury, only for the winger then a month after this 3am bar/nightclub disorder to get a more serious ACL injury in training (o his 21st birthday) , which he is currently still working back to fitness from.

From The Mag 11 October 2016:

On Monday The Sun quoted sources:

‘It took five bouncers to control his auntie, who also got involved. It was bedlam.

‘It was all treated as a joke and Rolando Aarons laughed it off. When they started to film it, Rolando’s mood changed and he took great offence.

‘He told them to stop. His view was that they had had their fun and it was going too far.

‘They were throwing tables and bottles of champagne.

‘There was blood everywhere by the end.’

Northumbria Police:

‘Police are appealing for information after a disturbance at Livellos night club in Newcastle on Sunday, October 9.

‘At around 3am, officers attended the scene where a large altercation had broken out in the club.

‘Nine people have been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.

‘One man attended hospital with facial injuries.’
