How much longer can Ciaran Clark carry Jamaal Lascelles?

After sitting through that 2-2 draw against QPR…I’ve always picked positives out of any game that has gone before, I always try took on the brighter side – but where do I start?!!

Karl Darlow has been excellent I know but what happened with that last minute goal and what appeared to be lack of communication? Only he will know.

Jamaal Lascelles was totally awful last night. Simple things he couldn’t do and I mean really simple things.

Ciaran Clark is carrying him. I had my doubts about Clark when we signed him but on the whole he’s been excellent.

Jonjo Shelvey – as much as it was an excellent goal, his temper just keeps getting the better of him. Players winding him up off the ball? Well it seems it’s working.

Poor selection to play Perez. Some fans say I talk to, says he makes good runs. I’m sorry but running around doesn’t make you a good player, his finishing is terrible. He had the neck to blame Ritchie for his OWN sh*t ball into the box and having to be dragged away by his teammates because of the argument was embarrassing.

Rafa’s interview after the game on Sky was alarming to say the least. Has Ashley stuck his unwanted fingers in the pie again?

We miss Dwight Gayle badly. I hope he’s fit for Saturday.

I wrote an article a few weeks back about my old man, who said at the start of season we were only good enough for the play-offs. With every game that passes I’m starting to get worried.

If we fail this season then I think I’m done with it, season ticket and all. This is our big chance to move on as a club and personally, if we don’t go up and move on as we should, if Ashley allows it, I think we are done for.

Will Rafa stick with it? I shake at the thought of answering it.

On last night’s display we are gonna get put through every emotion between now and the end of the season. Brighton for me will win the league. They are grinding it out and getting results week after week. It’s going to take a big big slump from Brighton for us to get top spot. Part of me still believes that we can but after every game it’s slowly disappearing as the weeks tick away.

Derby next, mmm?? Steve McClaren back at SJP.

I hope and pray for  three points because nothing else is going to be good enough. Changes are needed and Ayoze Perez simply can’t start.

I’d be interested to know from a few of you as to where you see our future?

For me, I keep trying to look for the bigger picture, but my hopes are fading.

I just want this season out of the way and to go up but any means possible.
