Crystal Palace fans with vicious Alan Pardew comments – How quickly forget getting to 5th

Whilst Newcastle were returning to the top of the Championship with their latest win at Wigan, Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace were losing their seventh match out of the past nine.

The silver fox having pulled off a win against Southampton two weeks ago, in his usual trick of finding a win from somewhere just as he is on the brink.

For apparently most Crystal Palace fans though now, they have seen the reality.

Since 24 September when coming from 2-0 down at Sunderland and the winner coming in the 94th minute, Palace have only won one game.

Just as the Newcastle fans were repeatedly lectured about not valuing a manager who had got them to fifth, it is ironically, less than a year ago when Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace were….fifth in the Premier League, heading into the new year.

Since then, only six Premier League wins in eleven and a half months is the grim reality and it is league leaders Chelsea next on Saturday.

Has Alan Pardew got any more lives left at Selhurst Park?

Interesting reading below, at how the average Palace fan has changed their view since lecturing their NUFC counterparts…

Comments from Crystal Palace fans via their top message board Holmesdale.Net:

‘Pardew needs to go now and Parish needs to Listen to the voice of the people who have supported this club through thick and thin.

I can’t believe his thumbs up to Parish last week after one win, What an arrogant man he is.’

‘I just can’t understand how Parish isn’t seeing what a lot of palace fans are.

He’s spent good money, he’s brought in real quality and we’ve come so far but I’m sorry with this man in charge I cannot see us in anything other than a serious relegation battle. Time to go, it’s disgustingly overdue.’

‘The cheeky little thumbs up at the Southampton game was cringe worthy. But it probably bought him another 6 months. How is he still in a job?! How can he survive after the incompetence we have witnessed tonight?’

‘Why does he (Pardew) not have the decency to call it a day?’

‘Will the haters acknowledge any merits or positive moves on Pardew’s part?’

‘I don’t hate him. I just think he’s s***e.’

‘I do, I think he’s a c***

Blaming luck really is pathetic.’

‘Bad luck we’ve still got Pardew.’

‘Bad luck doesn’t follow you consistently for a whole entire year?

Or is p45dew gone down in history as the unluckiest manager in premier league history?

Personally I think p45dew is the luckiest man on the planet to still be in a job.’

‘6 wins in 41 games. I suggest there is more than bad luck at play.’

‘Stats don’t lie, 6 in 41 is absolutely appalling, like to see AP give an answer for that. I want AP to get it right but I just don’t think he will.’

‘I never watched Dallas but a whole season was ruled out as just a dream by a dead bloke reappearing in a shower.

Well 2016 is more of a nightmare than a dream but with Pardew gone in the New Year perhaps we can put 2016 down to a bad dream and work with the new manager on Premiership survival.’

‘It’s a mess not sure it will improve under this manager seems to be hellbent on repeating the same mistakes & using every excuse under the sun to justify this.’

‘Can’t believe some people still comment on how we just have no luck and bad refereeing when we lose!!!

They’ve actually swallowed Pardew’s pathetic rhetoric! It’s just desperate when you have to cling to those excuses … pathetic! You make your own luck and referring decisions even out over the course of a season!

Wake up people … 6 league wins in 2016!!! It’s 2017 in a couple of weeks FFS!!!

F*** off Pardew and leave out club alone!!!!!!’

‘The arrogance of Alan Pardew is spreading like a disease or virus. It would appear only the realistic among us are immune. Vast swathes suffering from the same deluded misplaced arrogance as the original host carrier.

There are still many that need our help, if you hear of anyone constantly blaming referees, luck, or mutters “transition” repeatedly when the win ratio of 6 in 40 crops up, then please offer your help, as chances are they about to give 5 grand to a Nigerian prince, or invest in sending icebergs to the Sahara.

OUT. NOW.’

‘Is the Pardewout.com domain name still active?’

‘Man united are a shadow of their former selves and we threw away a point with a ridiculous sub.

No, I won’t acknowledge AP was anything other than an idiot, same as he has been since we lost away at Villa last season.’

Who else is to blame apart from Pardew?? It is like the life is slowly being drained from us. We need to act now before it is too late.’
