Two Newcastle players nominated for EFL Goal of the Season (so far)
Two Newcastle players have seen their strikes nominated for the EFK Goal of the Season (so far).
With just over a third of the season gone, Sky Sports have put together 15 of the goals from the 72 clubs outside the Premier League.
The 15 goals include the two from NUFC – Jonjo Shelvey’s classic in the 6-0 win at QPR and Yoan Gouffran’s volley at Derby County.
Newcastle United of course are the top scorers in the Championship with 34 goals, so plenty to choose from.
Ironic that despite being top scorer for both Newcastle United and the Championship with 11 goals so far, Dwight Gayle fails to have one chosen for this goal of the season poll.
Sky Sports:
‘Watch and vote for the best EFL goals of the season so far, featuring Jonjo Shelvey, Darren Bent, Yoan Gouffran, Robbie Brady and Steve Sidwell.
