It is Newcastle v Blackburn on Saturday for the ninth home Championship match of the season.
So far, a total of 404,942 have attended the eight Championship home games so far at St James Park (see breakdown below), at an average of 50,617.
Wednesday morning has seen Blackburn confirm how many tickets they have sold so far for the game.
Despite being third bottom and attracting just over ten thousand to their last home game at Ewood Park, 1,300 Blackburn supporters have already bought tickets and they have 300 remaining to sell.
The visitors have taken half the maximum 3,200 allocation so fingers crossed that Newcastle supporters will snap up those unwanted by the Blackburn fans.
Hopefully there will be at least another 50,000+ inside St James Park, as Rafa and his team attempt to make it 10 wins in a row (9 in the Championship).
Blackburn Rovers official announcement:
‘Rovers supporters have until 4.00pm this Friday to get their tickets for the weekend game against Newcastle United.
With over 1300 tickets sold for the match at St. James’ Park, there are just 300 left to sell for the clash with the Magpies.
Fans are reminded that this is an all ticket match and that there will be no tickets on sale on the day of the game.
Prices are £27 Adults, £22 Seniors 65+, £22 Full-Time Students, and £14 Juniors aged 17 & under.’
