Ticket sales update for Newcastle v Brentford – Over 300,000 fans in first 6 matches
The club have just given an update on ticket sales for Newcastle v Brentford tomorrow.
Newcastle United have revealed that ticket sales have passed 51,000 and only a handful of tickets remain for the match, Brentford confirming earlier this week that they had sold the best part of their three thousand two hundred ticket allocation and hopeful of selling the ones they had remaining.
A total of 249,837 have attended the five Championship home games so far (see breakdown below), at an average of 49,967.
The latest news means that it is guaranteed that after the Newcastle v Brentford match, over 300,000 paying supporters will have attended the first half dozen games.
This means the Championship average at St James Park will once again be in excess of 50,000.
