Free agent Ryan Taylor finds new club
Great to see Ryan Taylor has been signed up his latest club.
The versatile former Newcastle player has signed a short-term deal with Port Vale.
A free agent since his release from Hull City in the summer, Ryan Taylor arrives at Port Vale with them currently sixth top in League One.
The defender/midfielder will alway be remembered fondly by Newcastle fans for his committed play and in particular, spectacular free-kicks.
None more so than the ‘over the wall’ one that defeated Sunderland.

Port Vale Official Statement:
‘We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Ryan Taylor on a short-term deal, subject to EFL approval.
The defender, who is also known to play in midfield, has enjoyed a fantastic career in the Premier League will add a vast amount of experience to the Vale side.
Taylor has spent 9 years of his career in the top flight, playing for Wigan Athletic and Newcastle United.
Last season, the 32 year-old was part of the Hull City side who won promotion to the Premier League, the third promotion of his career.
He was promoted in 2004 with Tranmere Rovers to League One and again in 2010 with Newcastle.
Ryan has made over 300 appearances throughout his career and has scored over 30 goals, with some fantastic free-kicks, which the defender is well-known for.
He also made four appearances for the England Under-21’s back in 2005, following a great year which saw him named in the League One PFA Team Of The Year.
Taylor will wear the number 40 shirt for Vale and will be available for selection for the clash with Oxford United.’
