The Newcastle v QPR player ratings as voted by United fans.

Newcastle’s players made it six wins in a row and five clean sheets on the bounce.

…but what did the Newcastle fans make of each player on the pitch?

A bit like Rafa Benitez the Newcastle fans are keeping their feet on the ground, no easy 10 out of 10s all round, just because United won 6-0 away from home.

Star of the show was Jonjo Shelvey with a massive 9.6 rating, having ran the midfield and scored two goals, one a stunner (watch all six goals HERE).

Tuesday night maybe seeing Shelvey repeat the form for the first time, that he showed on his home debut against West Ham last season.

A lot of question marks had been put against Ayoze Perez (9.1) in the opening games but playing behind a physical striker he was right back at his best.

The supporting cast saw solid 8.0 ratings for both centre-backs, Lascelles leading the team superbly and Clark adding a very good goal on top of a dominant display alongside the Captain.

At the other end of the pitch it was Matt Ritchie (8.5) as usual playing a pivotal role with quality crosses, including for the Perez and Clark goals.

After that we had supporters giving decent marks to the rest of the team, with Gouffran (7.5) having a quieter game than of late and four of the more defensive players (Sels 7.3, Anita 7.7, Dummett 7.2 and Hayden 7.9) scoring under 8.0.

A great team effort  but this time the stars of the show were at the attacking end of the pitch.

Below are the ratings as voted by Newcastle fans up to 6pm on Wednesday.
