Nicky Law says that Newcastle loan player Haris Vuckic ‘is a very talented player and the fans will enjoy watching him’.
Midfielder Law joined Bradford City in the summer and just before the transfer deadline, Newcastle’s Slovenian international joined him on loan.
The pair played together in Scotland and Nicky Law was involved in all 25 of the matches that Haris Vuckic also played, a spell where he played probably the best football of his career, scoring nine goals.
Reunited with the Newcastle midfielder/striker, Nicky Law says that Haris Vuckic ‘has everything’ in his game.
Hopefully he will start to show that because with his St James Park contract up at the end of the season, Vuckic desperately needs to get his career back on track and get a permanent move to another club.
Bradford are currently second in League One and travel to Gillingham on Saturday afternoon, with Haris Vuckic hoping to be involved.
“Haris Vuckic is a very talented player and the fans will enjoy watching him.
“Technically, he is as good as anyone I have played with.
“He has got a great left foot and is tall too.
“He can look a bit languid at times but he scores goals…I think he has everything.
“I was delighted to see us get him on deadline day. He’ll be a great addition to the squad.
“Everyone says number ten these days! At Rangers, he played on the right quite a bit in a 4-2-3-1 formation but he isn’t an out-and-out winger.”
“I prefer playing on the right or number ten, so I can cut in and finish with my left foot…but I don’t mind playing left, sometimes as a striker.
“It is good that I can rotate but if you ask me my best position, I would say number 10 or right wing.”
