Newcastle United and Wolves agree to drop prices
Positive news as the Newcastle v Wolves match on Tuesday 20 September has seen the two clubs agree to cut prices.
The second round of the League (EFL) Cup saw Newcastle host Cheltenham and the prices were £15 and £5 (concessions).
That game attracted a half-decent crowd of 21,972 as two Ayoze Perez goals saw United run out 2-0 winners.
However, Newcastle and Wolves have now agreed to cut the prices and when they meet on Tuesday 20 September, the prices will be £10 and £3 (concessions).
Whatever the reasoning for doing so (Newcastle also play Wolves at home three days earlier in the Championship), simple logic tells you that reducing prices will equal a bigger crowd and surely a great chance for many fans to take their kids along.
At the moment it is season ticket holders only who can buy tickets but they go on sale to members tomorrow (Wednesday), then the general public as from Thursday.
Tickets can be bought online here, or by calling the NUFC ticket office on 0844 372 1892.
