Newcastle fans get 50% increase in QPR away tickets allocation

Newcastle United were originally given 1,800 QPR away tickets for the match on Tuesday 13 September.

With demand outstripping supply, the club have now revealed that the West London club increased the allocation by 50%.

That is the good news for both the team and the supporters but the not so good news for fans hoping to get to the game at Loftus Road, is that there are now only around 100 tickets of that 2,700 allocation still available.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm in eight days time and if you are looking for a ticket, best to get in quick as they are sure to sell out shortly.

The season ticket holders only time period has passed, with members (which includes season ticket holders) able to buy these last few tickets.

After starting the season on the bench, popular former Newcastle utility player James Perch has started the last two Championship matches and looks set to face his old club.

QPR are level on points with Newcastle but one place lower in the Championship table.

With a capacity of only around 18,000, great to see Newcastle taking 2,700 of those tickets and the team having the backing that can hopefully help them take another step back towards the Premier League

Tickets can be bought online here, or by calling the NUFC ticket office on 0844 372 1892.
