Why do some Newcastle fans bother?

For so long now in the modern day of this club, Newcastle fans have been crying out for stability, structure and rebuilding.

Rafa has come and ripped up Mike Ashley’s shoddy blueprint for this club and yes, I understand he (Ashley) has still done it for his own gains and pound signs.

Can the future be bright for a long time to come?

If, and I know it is a long way off, but IF, we get promoted what can the future hold in the long-term?

Back in the Premier League, for once can we really build a team/club to be proud of once again?

The only negative I have at the minute is not the team or the club, it is the minority of Newcastle fans that still want to see nothing but negatives. Yes, I know we all pay hard-earned money to watch week in week out, me included.

The Wolves defeat last Saturday, 1-0 half-time, and what happens – booing!!!!!

Really? What do some people expect?

To walk this league and not have bad days or defeats – they are going to happen. Rafa has had to rip this team apart and rebuild from scratch.

I can understand Newcastle fans still having hate towards Ashley and the minions, I’m one of them. As long as he is here he will never be forgiven for what he has brought to this club – but the team and Rafa, no. They need backing all the way, as this is the best chance we are going to get with a world class manager.

The wasters and so-called superstars are long gone and Rafa has players that want to play for the cause and are pulling in the same direction. So maybe in future, can the minority think before booing this side off the pitch when it ain’t all going to plan.

We aren’t the finished article and never will be, nor is any other club for that matter, but we need to give it time.

Some still think we are in a mess but have a look down the road – some have bigger problems, just remember that.
