A busy 24 hours as Newcastle United push through five outgoing loan deals.

Although we still wait official confirmation of Christian Atsu’s arrival on a loan arrangement with option to buy, plus of course the question of Mousa Sissoko’s future….

However, Newcastle have been very efficient in sorting ot loans for five NUFC players…

Adam Armstrong kicked things off with a loan deal to Barnsley on Tuesday night. The 19 year old Geordie striker will be with the Championship club until January 2017, although competition rules mean he can’t play against Newcastle when the two teams meet in October.

Jamie Sterry was the next deal to happen, the 20 year old full-back moving to Coventry until January 2017.

More importantly, a deal was then reached for Emmanuel Riviere to move to La Liga, promoted club Osasuna agreeing a year’s loan with an option to buy. Riviere has scored one league goal in two years at St James Park…

Then 19 year old defender Kyle Cameron agreed a move to League Two Newport County, after spending loan spells last season at Workington Reds and York City, Cameron will be in Wales until January 2017.

Finally, 20 year old winger Alex Gilliead has joined Luton Town on loan. Impressing at Carlisle United last season on loan, Gilliead will be at Luton until January 2017..

Good luck to all of the Newcastle players heading out for first team football.
