Four clubs approach Newcastle for Moussa Sissoko – Reports
There are reports on Wednesday morning that four clubs have now contacted Newcastle United regarding Moussa Sissoko
Spanish publication AS say that as well as Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, both Everton and Juventus have also been in touch about the payer’s situation.
As we all know, Moussa Sissoko has made clear he has no intention of ever playing for Newcastle again but with only 48 hours until the Championship kicks off, he is still a Newcastle United player.
They also say that Rafa Benitez has had offers for the French midfielder but knocked them back as not high enough.
Real Madrid of course would be a remarkable (astounding for Newcastle fans!) destination if Moussa Sissoko lands up there and for some time now there has been claimed interest from the La Liga runners up.
AS claim that Real Madrid do want the player but now want Sissoko himself to push Newcastle to allow a transfer to happen, no doubt at a figure below what Newcastle/Rafa have made clear they are willing to accept.
Obviously, this is a situation that does nobody any good but Newcastle supporters will certainly have no sympathy with Moussa Sissoko after his half-hearted efforts and public statements about wanting a new club.
