Derby tickets now on sale to Newcastle fans
Games come thick and fast in the Championship and Derby tickets are now on sale to Newcastle fans.
The criteria for when season ticket holders and members can apply is detailed below but safe to assume it will be another sellout.
The match is on Saturday 10 September with a 5.30pm kick-off for live coverage on Sky Sports but that is very unlikely to prevent the 3,200 allocation being snapped up.
Newcastle had up to 7,000 supporters at a sold out Craven Cottage, whilst all 2,500 tickets for the game at Bristol City a week on Saturday have all gone.
Official Newcastle United announcement:
‘Tickets for Newcastle United’s Sky Bet Championship away game at Derby County next month are now on sale to season ticket holders with 50 or more loyalty points.
On Saturday, 10th September (5.30pm kick-off), Rafa Benitez’s Magpies travel to the iPro Stadium – a ground they haven’t visited since February 2010.
Season ticket holders with 50 or more loyalty points can now secure their seat. The points threshold will drop to 25 points on Friday (12th August) and from Monday (15th August), all season ticket holders can purchase tickets.
Subject to availability, tickets will go on sale to Members on Monday, 22nd August.
Newcastle have been given an allocation of around 3,200 seats for the game, with tickets priced at £29 for adults, £20.50 for over-65s, and £16 for under-18s.
Fans who wish to travel to this fixture are advised to apply for tickets as early as possible so that the Club can work with Derby County to service demand.
Supporters who buy concessionary tickets are advised that they should carry ID with them at the match. Any supporter purchasing at the incorrect age band risks non entry on matchday as upgrading at the visiting club is not necessarily permitted on the day.
Age bands away from home vary on a game-by-game basis and do not necessarily mirror your age band held at Newcastle United. It is essential that the correct age band is selected at the time of purchase to prevent any disappointment on the day at the visiting club.
For safety reasons any child under 13 must be accompanied by somebody aged 18 or over.
As with last season, in order to be sure of sitting together season ticket holders and Members must be registered in an away travel group before purchasing tickets (maximum of ten persons per one group).’
