The club confirming that both Siem de Jong and Kevin Mbabu have picked up injuries.

The rest of the United squad complete their week’s training with a friendly against Bohemian on Saturday afternoon before flying home.

The Dutch midfielder’s latest problem was reported earlier today and is the 11th separate injury he has had in under three years.

De Jong sustained a hamstring injury during training, while Mbabu has a thigh complaint, and both players will work on their rehabilitation at the Magpies’ Benton-based Training Centre.’
