Wijnaldum scores cracking winner for Holland v Poland – Watch it here
Gini Wijnaldum and his Netherlands team-mates are finding their form a little bit too late.
Despite having what looked a fairly easy qualifying group for the Euros, Holland failed to automatically qualify with the Czech Republic and Iceland taking those two spots.
Then Wijanldum and the rest of the Dutch team even finished five points behind Turkey who went into the play-offs after ending up third.
However, since failing to qualify, Holland have had some encouraging results and amongst their recent games have beaten Euros qualifiers Wales, England and now Poland.
Wednesday night saw the Dutch travel to Gdansk and they led 1-0 at half-time through a Janssen goal.
On the hour mark Jedrzejczyk equalised for Poland, only for Gini Wijnaldum to grab the winner with 14 minutes to go.
This was his third away goal in the past 12 months for the midfielder, ironic when he scored all 11 of his Newcastle goals on home turf this past season.
A quality finish by Gini Wijnaldum to defeat Poland, watch it below.
