Newcastle United have began their Hong Kong Soccer Sevens campaign with a double win on Saturday morning.
The young Newcastle stars met Hong Kong Football Club in their first group game at 9.14am (GMT).
Sean Longstaff got United off to a great start with the only goal of the game three minutes into the second half, though the scoreline should have been more emphatic with Newcastle dominating.
Next up, Newcastle United met Kitchee with a 10.39am (GMT) kick-off and after only three minutes disaster struck, Michael Newberry sent off when last man and bringing an opposing player down.
However, two minutes later Captain Dan Barlaser put six man Newcastle ahead, then Sean Longstaff scored his second goal of the group stages to make the match safe. Although there was a late scare when Swainston scored for Kitchee with seconds to go.
Newcastle United now meet Aston Villa at 12.21pm (GMT) in their final group match.

All group games are seven minutes each way with a one miute half-time break.
Newcastle have won the competition once (2012) and came runners-up once (2013), this time they share a group with local sides Kitchee & Hong Kong Football Club and Aston Villa.
