Norwich v Sunderland – What result do you want? Vote now

Newcastle fans face an anxious four hours on Saturday as it is Norwich v Sunderland (12.45 KO) in the lead up to United’s match with Swansea.

No doubt the pubs in the city centre will be extra full, extra early, with the game at Carrow Road seemingly pivotal to any hope Newcastle fans have of staying up.

So what result do you want?

A Norwich win would surely see the Canaries out of reach of Newcastle, with a nine point gap and better goal difference.

A draw would see them go a still daunting seven points ahead with the better goal difference, whilst the Mackems would be three ahead of United.

A Sunderland win would see them five points ahead of Newcastle and Norwich six points, with the gap to safety narrowing to three if NUFC beat Swansea.

To neutrals maybe the choice would be obvious in terms of pure numbers.

However, do Newcastle supporters really feel that they still want Sunderland to get beat even though it would snuff out realistically any remaining hope.

Or is it the coward’s way of going for a draw and keeping both options (Newcastle survival/Sunderland relegation) as possible?

The choice is yours.
