Using our interactive feature,  NUFC team selector, we asked you to choose your preferred formation and starting eleven for the Newcastle team v Liverpool.

The preferred formation chosen was 4-2-3-1 with a two changes from Tuesday night’s draw with Manchester City.

It was a great team display at St James Park but arguably the two weakest performers have been replaced in the supporters’ choice of starting eleven.

Up front, Aleksandar Mitrovic is chosen ahead of Papiss Cisse after two decent substitute appearances in place of the Senegal striker.

Meanwhile the back to fitness Kevin Mbabu edges out Paul Dummett, who only recently returned from injury himself.
