Waking up and smelling the coffee isn’t enough…

It’s okay to smell the coffee but we have to drink it…and when Newcastle fans experience the effects –  react to it!

We have blamed Pardew,  we have blamed Carver,  we have blamed McClaren – now we have the best in the business and we are in a stupor because there is no one else to blame!

This stupor was a stadium with 50k Newcastle supporters and a team of 11 players who all put a shift in. It was not our day but we played and we tried and there is really no one left to blame… but ourselves!

Newcastle United at St James Park should have 11 men on the pitch not 11.

Yes…your support was absolutely appalling!

Those Newcastle fans who go to matches for a quiet afternoon, I wish you would buy me a season ticket… or take up maybe indoor bowling, or buy a dog?!

The results may not be going our way, tactics and player choices have not been perfect, but what we have at Newcastle is the best squad of players for a very long time…

Townsend… out of this world… Perez, Winaldum, Sissoko all wanted by every single club in premier league…

There is so much to celebrate at St James. When we are UNITED, as the old song goes, we will never be defeated.

If Mike Ashley bought in Messi, Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Michael Carrick – some of you would still hate him and insult him at every opportunity. And it’s my guess, some of you would still not sing.

Why are you going to football matches if you do not want to cheer the team on?

Both Perez and Mitrovic had to appeal to the fans for more support, his is because one nil down – Gallowgate End corner and you were all sitting like it was a funeral! What do you guys want?  What happened to the taunting of the away goalkeeper? More importantly what happened to supporting your own team?

You are obviously all earning too much money or drinking too much (or too little) beer. Maybe it’s the fluoride in the water, whatever, they need to wake up. Teams should have a bad head after leaving St James Park and fans should have lost their voices.

We have got a choice, continue as we are and hope for survival, OR we can get on that pitch vocally and be that 12th man.  A mackem friend triggered this off – I usually argue with him but he was in this instance right. Sunderland make more noise than us (even if they do enhance crowd noise with their tannoy system).

It needs to change, this season.

If you go to matches to relax and have a quiet day, please can I have your season ticket?

Come on folks, only we can turn St James Park into the fortress it used to be. Your presence is not enough, your money is not enough, we need VOCAL support!
