What about one of these two to replace Lee Charnley at Newcastle United
We are all aware that Lee Charnley is way out of his depth in all matters related to football.
It would also appear that Lee Charnley is not too clever in day to day life when you look at some of the things he comes out with.
It is my opinion that the position he holds in our FOOTBALL club should only be held by an experienced FOOTBALL person.
I would personally go for a former top ex-player who has kept in touch with the game since jacking in. Another option would be an elder statesman ex- manager ( if only SBR was still around) who could be at the helm to organise all football matters.
He could organise getting a new manager and coaches in and boot Carr out of all transfer dealings and basically be in charge of everything to do with the football side of our club.
Yes we need accountants and lawyers etc. but what we do not need is a glorified clerk with no football knowledge running football matters in our once great club.
I am sure everyone has their own opinion as to who should take over from Penfold but for instance could Kevin Keegan do the job in the unlikely event of him and Ashley making up, or has that ship sailed?
What about Glenn Hoddle?
The possibilities are many and I would be surprised if our fans do not have many opinions…
