Jonjo Shelvey picks best eleven players he has ever played with…

Jonjo Shelvey has taken up the challenge of picking the best team of players he has ever played alongside.

The Newcastle midfielder has a fair few to choose from, despite only turning 24 last month he has also appeared for Charlton, Liverpool and Swansea, as well as Blackpool on loan.

Jonjo Shelvey has gone for a 4-3-3 formation and his full team will be revealed on the Fantasy Football Club on Sky on Friday night.

However, as a taster for the programme, they have revealed four of the players who are included in the eleven chosen.

They are Pepe Reina in goal, Daniel Agger at centre-half, Steven Gerrard in midfield and Luis Suarez up front. Bit of a theme building up there…

However, there is at least one non-Liverpool player included, as Sky have confirmed that there is one (so far un-named) Charlton player named by Jonjo Shelvey.

Paul Merson will be appearing on the show with host Max Rushden on Friday night when we will find out the whole team.

It will be interesting/amusing to see which Newcastle players Shelvey includes…

At the moment, you would find it tricky to even consider anybody but Jonjo Shelvey himself!

Considering Shelvey finished eighth with Swansea City in the Premier League, you would imagine he would select at least one or two from that team.

So for appearances sake do you think Jonjo Shelvey will include any of his new team-mates, or take the coward’s route and say he has’t played long enough with the likes of Emmanuel Riviere and Yoan Gouffran…?
