Steve McClaren and Lee Charnley to be sacked under Six Strikes policy?

Are Newcastle United set to ‘release’ Lee Charnley and Steve McClaren under the six strikes (*See below) policy?

Well since we are now part of the horrible brand of Sports Direct, does this mean that the Management at St James Park fall under Mike Ashley’s usual working conditions?

Have  Lee Charley and Steve McClaren now been issued with the maximum strikes allowed for any employee in the last six months?

If so we should imminently hear from their preferred media partners (including the Evening Chronicle) that they have now been released from their duties at Newcastle United.

***Quote from Sports Direct regarding the Strike system they use –

‘The system, amongst other things, takes into consideration the member of staff’s time keeping, attendance, sickness, conduct and performance target levels.

When a member of staff falls below the required standards, the reasons for this will be discussed (including any mitigation) and support and training will be provided to help the individual reach the targets expected of them.

Where any member of staff continues to fail to reach these targets, a strike may be issued as a ¼, ½ or full strike. Any strike/partial strike issued expires after a six-month period.’

Six Strikes and out for Lee Charnley and Steve McClaren (ED…and Graham Carr?)? We would be so lucky…
