The ticking time bomb at St James Park

When we start looking at our chances for survival at St James Park, we tend to look at how far behind the 4th bottom team we are, but I have come to thinking that this is not the way to look at it.

Below I have made some points which I feel need to be taken very seriously if we are to survive…

1 – If we fail to win 1 of our next 2 games at St James Park we could have to win 8 games from our last 16 (50 %). Just let that sink in, 50%.

2 – Bearing in mind, out of those remaining 16 games we will only have 7 at home and 9 away and might have to win 8.

3 – By next Sunday, if we fail to beat either Man U or West Ham, then a bolt of lightning should hit Ashley/Charnley to the fact that due to not sacking McClaren NOW(!), NUFC will most likely be playing Championship football next year.

4 – Another frightening thing is that Ashley and Charnley won’t even see the warning signs that are flashing because as Kevin Keegan stated, Ashley knows nothing about football and worse, he reported that Charnley’s knowledge wouldn’t fill the back of a stamp (and he’s the head honcho).

5 – Unless Ashley sacks McClaren now, gets a proven manager in (Keegan, Moyes)and gives them full running and backing of the club – allows him to buy who we need, it will be too late.

Sorry for the morbid post but I can only hope somebody acts now within the club and saves us from years of purgatory in the lower leagues, because if we go down this year we will not bounce back like we did last time.
