After the final whistle at St James Park on Saturday night, we asked you for your Newcastle v Everton player ratings.

Supporters rated all 12 players used and from that there is generated the overall supporter marks for every player.

Your man of the match (fan ratings as at 8am on Monday morning – see below) had Chancel Mbemba in top spot, with a rating of 8.0 out of 10.

The DR Congo defender has been consistently good but gave perhaps his best display yet, making a number of key saving tackles and challenges.

Next highest was Rob Elliot who once again gave an excellent performance, only marred by that late mistake for the goal, without that he may well have been man of the match yet again.

Once more, the fact that defensive players are the highest rated, shows where most of the action takes place in Newcastle matches at the minute.

There is then some distance to the next best player, with fans rating Vurnon Anita (6.8) and Fabricio Coloccini (6.6).

After that it is quite desperate, with only Sissoko and Wijnaldum (just about) managing 6.0 or better.

Bottom of the pile of the starting eleven are Mitrovic (4.7) after missing two sitters and then Paul Dummett (5.0) who once again looked out of his depth, even though Steve McClaren went out of his way to praise him.

If you haven’t already put in your Newcastle v Everton player ratings, go HERE and you can still input your own marks out of 10 for each player, then check back later to see whether the overall interactive ratings have changed for the team as more fans vote.
