Ayoze Perez confirms interest from Spanish club and Spurs & Manchester United
With the January transfer window only days away, Ayoze Perez has confirmed that at least three other clubs are interested in buying him.
The Newcastle striker says that Manchester United, Tottenham and a so far unnamed Spanish club, are all wanting to secure his services.
Perez describes the interest in him as ‘very satisfying’ as it shows the progress he is making, however he insists that his ‘place is in Newcastle’.
The Newcastle striker was talking to Radio Club Tenerife and said that he is no playing in the best league in the world and it is where he always wanted to play.
Ayoze Perez revealed that he usually goes to the gym every afternoon after training, as he knows he needs to work on his strength to help him compete.
Whilst it is good to hear the young striker say that he sees his future, at least in the short-term, at Newcastle, many fans worry about Steve McClaren leaving him out on a number of occasions, despite him clearly being one of Newcastle’s best players.
Ayoze Perez speaking to Radio Club Tenerife:
