Injured again Rolando Aarons fails to bite at sarcastic messages from Newcastle fans

Yet again, Newcastle winger Rolando Aarons has picked up yet another injury before making a full comeback from a previous one.

Watching the reserves at St James Park on Monday night, Aarons was on crutches and sporting a protective boot on his right foot.

Media reports say that the (latest) injury happened in training on Friday.

The winger was conspicuous by his absence on the list of subs against Stoke with no explanation as to why he was missing.

When news broke this morning, numerous Newcastle fans were quick to comment on this latest injury to Rolando Aarons.

Sympathy was in relatively short supply as fans looked to outdo each other in describing the young winger’s seemingly fragile body.

Having spent seemingly over 90% of his time injured since breaking into the first team squad picture, it is unlikely the player himself was laughing along when he read the comments about his injury-plagued career at Newcastle United.

However, rather than bite back, Rolando Aarons simply retweeted these Twitter messages to the people who follow his account…

Josh Pearson

‘In hindsight, we probably should have given QPR Rolando Aarons in a part-exchange for Charlie Austin. The guy is made of glass!!’

Luke Wilson

‘Rolando Aarons is the new Kieron Dyer.’

‘Rolando Aarons has really kicked on since that time Pardew rushed him back from injury to save his job last autumn.’

Lewis Robson

‘Rolando Aarons is literally injured 24/7 ffs.’

Gordon Baxter

‘Just heard about professional sickness specialist Rolando Aarons whose career has been blighted by the odd appearance for NUFC.’

Kris Leighton ‏

‘Rolando Aarons is a write off isn’t he.’

Taylor and Besty

‘Rolando Aarons appears to be made of glass and Pritt Stick.’

Ben Walker

‘Rolando Aarons. The modern day Jack Wilshere. Body made of tab ash.’

Sam Whitehead

‘Swear Rolando Aarons is made out of glass.’
