Newcastle fans: Non-League day is here – Support and enjoy
Today sees the sixth Non-League Day taking place, a day when the teams below the top four divisions step into the spotlight.
The north east obviously has a proud history in the non-league football sphere and the modern day sees plenty of success stories & passionate people making things happen for their local clubs.
Non-League Day aims to strengthen these lower leagues and help their clubs attract a new wave of supporters to go and watch their local team.
With a grateful rest from Newcastle United’s struggles why not give it a go today, you can’t complain about the selection on offer…
There are three stand out options this Saturday:
Gateshead v Cheltenham Town (National League –Conference)
Whitley Bay v Chorley (FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round)
Blyth Spartans v Sutton Coldfield Town (Evostik)
As an extra incentive, Gateshead have reduced prices for today’s match with Cheltenham Town (£10 adults, £5 concessions £1 U16s.
Whilst over at North Shields, you can see them take on Dunston for only £1 if you are a Newcastle United season ticket holder.
