The question we asking you yesterday was: ‘Is Sam Allardyce’s arrival at Sunderland bad news for Newcastle fans?’
The two sides of the argument appear to be:
On the one hand Sam Allardyce hasn’t relegated a club from the Premier League (yet…).
Whilst on the other, his teams play clueless longball football that depresses the fans and eventually gets him the sack, at every Premier League club he has managed apart from Bolton.
So thanks to all who voted and we now have your result.
The final count showed 61% of NUFC fans thought Sam Allardyce’s arrival at Sunderland WAS bad news for Newcastle and United fans, whilst 39% thought Allardyce would further weaken their chances of recovering.
So basically three in five Newcastle supporters who voted, believe that Sam Allardyce will bring better results, if not necessarily better football, to Wearside.
I thought the vote could go either way but on this occasion I certainly hope most Newcastle fans haven’t got a clue…
