Frank de Boer was linked with a move to England during last season but said he would give it at least one more year.
De Boer was linked with both Newcastle and Liverpool but nothing materialised, Brendan Rodgers staying at Anfield and Steve McClaren eventually replacing Alan Pardew.
However, Frank de Boer has once again fuelled the speculation with his latest interview.
Speaking to BBC’s World Service the Ajax manager was asked about both Newcastle and Liverpool, both clubs with the manager under pressure, and de Boer said:
“They are fantastic clubs, Liverpool and Newcastle, with their supporters behind them, fantastic environments to coach, but this year it is important for me to do well at Ajax and then we will see.”
A move to England?
“Yes, I think every year it comes closer.
“I am looking maybe for another adventure.
“If there is an interesting club which I think with my quality I can make that team better, if I can, then I will take that chance.”
After PSV strolled the league, Ajax are looking once again to be nailed on to regain the title and potentially see Frank de Boer eventually leave on a winning note.
After seven matches they are top with 19 points, whilst PSV are trailing by five points as they struggle to come to terms with losing star players Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum.
