Questions that Newcastle fans need to ask themselves about the running of the club
After the runaway success of the last series of questions which I posted on The Mag towards the end of last season, I thought it was time to follow-up with a few more for Newcastle fans.
These questions are for supporters to ask themselves about the current state of the club after the summer’s activity and what matters to them as a Newcastle United fan.
Please answer honestly and, as always, share your thoughts and answers in the comments section below.
‘After the speech by the owner, and the calibre of players bought in, did you harbour genuine hopes for success in the coming season?’
‘Now we are six league games in, how much of that hope remains?’
‘What are your current aspirations for the club this season?’
‘Do you think that the club will finish in the top or bottom half of the league?’
‘Is relegation, once again, a genuine danger?’
‘What, if anything, has changed about the club’s approach this summer apart from the size of the fees paid?’
‘Is Steve McClaren the right man for the job?’
‘If you could change one thing about the club, what would it be?’
Looking forward to reading your answers…
