If no more players sign – how successful has NUFC transfer window been? Vote now

If no more signings are made in the next 17 days, how successful will you think Newcastle United’s transfer window has been?

That is the question we are asking this morning as Steve McClaren says there is nothing ‘concrete at the moment’ but he hopes for more signings.

The transfer window is in the balance, Newcastle supporters generally seemed to want at least half a dozen first team signings this summer, to prevent another relegation battle.

However, the first team signings of Wijnaldum, Mbemba and Mitrovic (Ivan Toney ‘one for the future’) appear to have been received by fans as higher quality than expected.

So the question is, if United sign nobody else before close of transfer business on September 1, how successful will you feel the transfer window has been overall?

Vote now.
