You just have to love Alan Pardew, don’t you?

There was an odd one or two Newcastle fans who claimed our former manager had an ego…

Hard to believe, isn’t it.

Have a look at this video footage below and  I’m sure that will clarify things for you.

Crystal Palace v Swansea City and Alan Pardew at his very best…

  • Leazes_62

    they’ll learn…

  • AndyMac1

None of you will ever know the feeling of loathing I had for Pardwho. He was a chancer, totally unqualified to manage a big club like NUFC but the penny pinching billionaire found him to be the perfect patsy.

The photos of Clueless taken in various celebrity hangouts like Monaco GP, Marbella or Brazil WC serve to remind that he was a starstruck, double glazier turned lucky.
Wherever he goes in his footballing career one thing I guarantee is he’ll win F all and the four and a half years he stole from us can never be repaid

  • suffolkcp

How Sad Are You Lot 7 Months On And You Are Still On About Pardew . You wanted him out and got your wish so let it go. If he fails or not at palace it doesn’t matter because I support my SMALL club whatever- can the same be said for you?.pardew out followed by carver and the ginger wingher be careful what you wish for!!! I sincerely hope that you have a successful season as all the Newcastle fans I know deserve that but please stop bleating about super Al.

  • suffolkcp

    What have you ever won

  • DownUnderMag

Time to let it go now boys and girls.  Pardew has left the building, keep digging up the past isn’t achieving anything.  There are more pressing concerns at present for us to be worrying about.

  • foggy

DownUnderMag  Agree, the fekking muppet shouldn’t be seen, heard from or spoken about.
Move on everyone. The Muppet has gone.

  • Hez

Another day, another Pardew article, let it go

  • Hez

Agreed, this site was obsessed with everything he does as NUFC manager and still is

  • Steve1221

AndyMac1 And yet he’s the best manager we’ve had since Robson

  • Jamie Ingham

He should’ve been sacked after the Mahler incident but the again Ashley wouldn’t have got the £3M compensation, coincidence?

  • The Glazier

Did it take you 2 months to write this piece of interesting and insightful journalism?

Give it a rest now, you’re getting embarrassing.  I actually feel sorry for the section of NUFC supporters that aren’t obsessed with Pardew.  If you’re not going to do the rest of the footballing world a favour, at least think of your fellow supporters.

  • amacdee

The Glazier You do realise the irony of calling NUFC fans obsessed while you air your opinion on an NUFC fan site ? Surely you’ve a home to go to ?

  • amacdee

suffolkcp it’s precisely for that reason that we wasted four years on a bloke who hadnt got a clue. Maybe McClaren will have a better chance who knows but personally as long as Pardwho is away from SJP we’re in a much better place. Lets hope he manages to break the habit of second season syndrome with you lot ?

  • amacdee

    Steve1221
I would argue that Hughton was a more successful manager than Clueless and Roeder had better win stats but the list of previous managers since SBR is a sad indictment of the so called footballing people who ran NUFC before the Fat Muppet turned up and made it worse.

  • cpfc1905

He deserves an ego, for propelling Palace up to 10th and more importantly for Newcastle fans keeping you up, because without his point, your sh-te side was doomed. Not even your famous fans with all their constant moaning and stupid banners could stop Super Al from saving your ridiculous hides.
So do us all a favour and just show some class and be thankful to him.

  • 1957

He’s gone so why continue to obsess about him. We didn’t want him Palace fans do lets all move on.

  • NotFatFreddy

Boring.  The not so special one is now manager of the “Mighty” Palace, so somehow sadly missed out on the Man U job and I guess Liverpool and Spurs were sniffing around, such is his pedigree.   BTW I wonder why Cabaye isn’t at a top Premiership club like Swansea or Southampton, never mind Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea or even WHU?

    To CPFC1905

Who assembled our sh-te team and left us worse off than Chris Hughton (Super Chris?), us stupid moronic fans?  I do hope you show some class when you forget that you once called him -‘Super Al’ and politely grit your teeth when hard reality sinks in.  Reminds me of some Hammers fans who were having a go because we dared to critique Big Sam’s style of football when he was manager.  We dared ‘booooo’ at Mr Ego who thought he should be next England Manager.  Then he ended up at WHU and…..?

Looking at what happened to Souness and Big Sam after they left NUFC, the fans who suffered were proven right!  When at least 75% were dissatisfied with Mr Pardew, then I would be looking at why the Alarm Bells were ringing so loudly and not one fan singing ‘Supa Al’.

Let’s get back to reality and someone who justifies the title SUPER AL

Talking off class-Palace fans are now on the same level as the Villa-just above the make-ems.

  • cpfc1905

So thats just above you lot then. At least we are aware we are punching above our weight. See having over exaggerated expectations of oneself is no only vulgar, but you rarely achieve them….
    Can you relate?

  • NotFatFreddy

    cpfc1905

What a farce soul you are mate, can you relate?  Like a typical southern mug you have digested everything anti-Newcastle as propagated by the southern press- the typical  strawman ‘stupid’ supporters who think we have some divine right to success. Such a Mancurian arrogance, if it was true, would be laughable to those of us who actually have followed NUFC for just under half a century, especially when we haven’t won a domestic trophy for over half a century!  So I must be a real Johnny-come-lately, so how long have you been attending Palace?  So get back to the hard facts.  If a club averages 50,000?  Is one of the richest clubs in World Football?  If it is owned by a Billionaire?  Do you think those supporters would at least hope to see their club therefore have ambition on the pitch?  To even try and win a League Cup?  Are those exaggerated expectations to have more ambition than say under Glen Roeder?  The owner seemed to think so up until last month and so did your ‘Super Al’ who is largely responsible for the current squad of players HE HAILED as being his best last pre-season.
Now look at the history of the Premiership.  Look at our average gates (despite winning nothing) and look where we have finished in the table over the last 20 years.  Now the last 7 years.  Is NUFC as a club presently punching above its weight or below- taking into consideration where we finished under Bobby Robson and previously?  Consider again: 50,000 and a current Billionaire owner.
The reality might help you in future posts. Newcastle fans NEVER expect to win any trophy, yet we used to have a little bit of hope and dared to dream under SBR and Keegan etc. We expect 100% effort on the pitch and pride in wearing the shirt.  We should expect to have some hope to compete with Swansea and Southampton based on what should be a reality-large investment from our Billionaire owner as one of the richest clubs in Europe.  The fans are not deluded.  The fans simply yearn for attacking flair football and hope to be in the top 8 and have a good go at winning a domestic cup.  Under ‘Super Al’ we never progressed as the Championship winning squad under Chris Hughton, if you examine the season we returned to the Premiership, was more competitive in a better league at that time.
So there is very little ‘Super’ about Mr Pardew who couldn’t even win us a derby match.  You might big him up for keeping you up, but there is nothing in Pardew that attracts a top club. NOTHING.  You might continue with your expert diagnosis of NUFC, but it isn’t the fans fault nor are we deluded or stupid except in our LOYALTY and that can never be disputed end of.
Now if we keep to the hard facts then surely your old manager Tony Pulis is worthy of a quote:
‘Pulis…. has praised the support base, suggesting all they want to see is the team doing well and the players enjoying success.“It’s a wonderful club, a wonderful place to play and a wonderful stadium. The support is absolutely fantastic, all they want is a winning team,” he said.“That’s the bottom line, they want to come and watch a team on Saturday that wins football matches. If you do that for them then great, but it’s the same everywhere.” Note:  ***The support is absolutely fantastic, all they want is a winning team***  (Speaking about the Carver predicament after the WBA game) Pulis doesn’t fall for the deluded and stupid labels does he?  Should I believe you or your old legend of a manager ‘Super Tony Pulis’ who set you up on a better level prior to the coming messiah- Super Al?  What a misnomer–average player and average manager says history.    http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/05/11/pulis-this-is-all-newcastle-united-fans-want-to-see/
