The top 9 most memorable Newcastle United moments have been picked by Sky Sports.

They are amongst a 160 strong video archive, featuring the most memorable Premier League moments from all the clubs who have featured over the last 23 years.

You can view that entire 160 video archive here and vote for your favourite – the most popular announced on August 21 from votes cast.

However, we have saved you the job if you just wanted to know the Newcastle moments they have chosen to include (These are the GOOD Newcastle United ones, tomorrow we’ll bring you the not so good ones they’ve chosen).

Some of you may think the KK rant is a negative but I thought it was bloody brilliant!

1993/94 Andy Cole hat-trick – Newcastle 3 Liverpool 0

1995/96 Kevin Keegan rant after Leeds 0 Newcastle 1 (‘I’d love it…’)

1996/97 Philippe Albert chip – Newcastle United 5 Manchester United 0

1999/00 Shearer scores five – Newcastle 8 Sheff Wed 0

2002/03 Shearer volley – Newcastle 2 Everton 1

2005/06 Shearer breaks Milburn’s record – Newcastle 2 Portsmouth 0

2010/11 Newcastle 5 Sunderland 1

sky sports

2010/11 Cheick Tiote’s equaliser – Newcastle 4 Arsenal 4

2011/12 Papiss Cisse scores Premier League goal of the season – Chelsea 0 Newcastle 2

Which moment stands out for you and which would you like to live through again?

Or have they missed an even better NUFC moment in the Premier League?

Love the pic of Keegan and Taggart but my all-time fav goal is Albert chipping Schmeichel 5-0 Man Utd

I’d have to go with 5-1 for all sorts of reasons. Possibly Hughton’s greatest managerial moment (even allowing for Promotion) and one which the silver haired numbnut got nowhere near in five years of stupifying football

  • DavidDrape

chelsea away was special but his 1st goal was better also due to the fact he hit it high to waste time as only 2 mins left of 10 mins of injury time.

  • Michael Teasdale

Surprised to see no 4-3 vs Liverpool on there. I thought that was voted the best premier league game ever?
I would also go for the 4-3 comeback against Leicester with Shearer’s hattrick and Shearer’s home debut against Wimbledon where David Batty chipped Neil Sullivan from the halfway line…which I believe some other guy once also did, to less acclaim. :)

Tiote’s equaliser would get my vote purely from the drama of it.
0-4 to a top club, battling back thanks mainly to (maybe) Joey Barton’s best performance for us and a player who normally can’t pass the ball let alone hit the target scoring from outside the box. Topped off by it being done under one of the most negative coaching regimes ever seen at NUFC.
    Pure theatre!

    David Drape ………be quiet.

Cisse’s first was good but you need yer eyes checking mate the second goal was beyond words, brilliance.

5 zip vs Man Utd. Everything else is merely a footnote.

Andy Cole v villa and his record breaking goal. Amazing atmosphere, brilliant performance, stunning goals.
    Sellers, Beardsley, Bracewell, Cole.
Even villas goal was a corker.

The cisse goal of the season vs chelsea made me speachless at a goal for the first time ever so that takes the no. 1 but the albert chip almost made me cry with joy coz of the timing. The opposition and the arrogant keeper. Philippe albeerrrrtttt!!!!!!!!! Never see anything like that again!
