The big bonus for NUFC fans from Leicester v Newcastle

Leicester v Newcastle saw United put in arguably their worst performance of the season, which takes some doing considering what had gone before.

Eight defeats in a row, no heart and little ability, yet there was a silver lining.

Yesterday’s loss leaves Newcastle on 35 points with three games (9 points) still to play.

The maximum number of points that is possible is 44.

However, in 10th place in the table are Stoke with 47 points.

Which means that not one single slacker at Newcastle United is getting a bonus!

Yes, the holy grail of 10th place is not achievable any longer and whilst of course you have sympathy for the low paid admin staff etc, the good news is not one player, one coach, or Lee Charnley and the other willing minions, will get a bonus.

Rejoice, more disharmony within the club making it that little bit harder for Mike Ashley to get those willing to do his dirty work at St. James’ Park to be quite so keen, now that they have seen their bonus disappear.
