Driving along minding his own business in Western Australia, Newcastle fan David Bilclough was given an unwelcome reminder of the mess thousands of miles away on Tyneside.

David spotted possibly the least desirable address on the planet.

In Fremantle, Western Australia they have the not so prestigious address of ‘Cardew Street’!

Yes there really is no escape from this black and white nightmare.

(***Just in case you have been out of contact with events on Tyneside, Cardew is a term of ‘endearment’ where the synergy of two managerial greats is achieved via their names – John CARver and Alan PARDEW)

Searching the internet for ‘Cardew’ it turns out that it is a Celtic name sometimes given to boys, with the following mumbo jumbo regarding the name, some of which is strangely appropriate in our case….

Celtic Meaning

The name Cardew is a Celtic baby name. In Celtic the meaning of the name Cardew is: From the black fort.

Soul Urge

People with this name have a deep inner desire for a stable, loving family or community, and a need to work with others and to be appreciated.

Expression Number

People with this name tend to be passionate, compassionate, intuitive, romantic, and to have magnetic personalities. They are usually humanitarian, broadminded and generous, and tend to follow professions where they can serve humanity. Because they are so affectionate and giving, they may be imposed on. They are romantic and easily fall in love, but may be easily hurt and are sometimes quick-tempered.
