John Carver mixes in some quite exclusive company.

The Newcastle Head Coach has claimed that everybody has wanted to talk to him in the last few days and they have all been positive.

Carver goes on to say that everyone ‘seems to want to support what we’re trying to do’.

Well maybe if the rest of us who don’t get to mingle with the Head Coach were given a clue as to what he and the rest of them at NUFC were actually trying to do, we might be positive like these people he meets…

On Monday John Carver was at the much publicised charity golf day and when he talks about positivity, he obviously missed the press interviews that the likes of Alan Shearer and Ant & Dec did, the Geordie double act for example saying that no other business would treat their customers like Newcastle United do under Mike Ashley.

Words that were positively….damning!

John Carver:

“When you are out in the community you do feel a little bit of pressure because everybody wants to talk to you, but it has all been positive, it has been a positive week this week. Everybody seems to want to support what we’re trying to do and I will say the same thing about the supporters.

“We need you, we need you this weekend. Put all the differences aside: whatever you think of me, whatever you think of Lee Charnley, whatever you think of Mike Ashley, put that to the side and get behind the team. The inquest can come afterwards.”

Relegation would be unbearable:

“Relegation doesn’t even bear thinking about to be quite honest, It is not something which is in my mind.

“I have seen what has happened in the past and it wasn’t nice, if it did happen it would be unbearable. I don’t even know how long it would take to get over it.

“As far as I am concerned, let us take care of our business and then we get to Sunday at five ‘o’clock, then I’ll have a better idea.”

Once again we hear about the fans responsibility, how much we’re needed. What about the responsibility of the players, the coach and mainly the owner? The club has been run into the ground and they still tell people to turn up and clap. Deluded doesn’t even begin to cover it.

So much for the media blackout John eh

    Who is ‘everybody’ exactly?

    Every Mackem, maybe.

Everybody seems supportive of what we are trying to do… Stay in the Premiership this Sunday yes, everything else you and your puppet masters are trying to do? not a chance. If you were a true fan you would come out against the Asley business model as it has absolutely nothing to do with improving the team and the club in general (your club you super fan). And if you were a true fan you would have admitted you just aren’t good enough to manage the team and would have walked away a looong time ago in order to force the board to get an experienced manager in for the short term in order to save our Premiership status. You are a disgrace

Worst thing is that he is talking about the future as if it’s a given that he’s a part of it. If any of us were that bad at our job we would have been sacked weeks ago. I don’t care what he says until after the game when I will await his resignation speech. If that isn’t forthcoming then he might have that fight he always seems up for on his hands. At the moment he does have the fact nobody else wanted the job on his side but if he has the brass neck to apply for the job full time after this season then that’s another matter entirely.

And what about the ‘I’ll keep my gob shut from now  on’ bit???  that didn’t last long did it??

If we DO end up with him as head coach I wonder if those who have stated they’ll chuck nufc will actually do that-or will they still be like sheep and turn up yet again regardless??………….

Carver’s an absolute disgrace to the football profession

Relegation is not something he thinks about, maybe thats why he is such an idiot

must be all the people on planet Carver that orbit endlessy round in the vacuous space between his ears all chanting in a dialect that he once invented as a child to escape the real words of real people that confused his understanding of being special.

Lap of honor after the game???
