A lot of interest this Saturday will focus on Charlie Austin when Newcastle meet QPR.

A crucial match in United’s relegation fight, it is ironic that Newcastle are favourites to land the opposition’s main man.

After scoring for fun in the Championship, Charlie Austin has shown his quality with 17 goals in only 33 games for the Premier League’s bottom club.

Newcastle have now been made odds on (10/11) favourites to land Austin in the summer but need to sort their own future out first.

If safety is assured and then 12/1 Bournemouth beat NUFC to Austin’s signature then we’d really know the game was up on Miek Ashley’s plan.
