Sunderland 1 Pardew 4
Only six days after yet another humiliating Newcastle defeat to Sunderland, Alan Pardew was the next visitor at the Stadium of Light.
You could have wrote the script.
After 4 goals in only 14 second-half minutes, the Sunderland fans deserted by their thousands with still half an hour left.
A last minute goal by Connor Wickham scant consolation for our local rivals.
The last three home games for the mackems reads:
Sunderland 0 Aston Villa 4
Sunderland 1 Newcastle 0
Sunderland 1 Crystal Palace 4
The thing is as well, in reality Sunderland could have easily beaten Newcastle by three or four.
This calendar year, Sunderland have won only one other home match. That 2-0 win over Burnley is the only other Premier League match at the Stadium of Light where they have scored a goal since a 3-1 home defeat by Hull on Boxing Day.
In their last 22 Premier League matches, Sunderland have only won 3 matches, 2 of those were against Newcastle…
Sunderland are useless and currently Newcastle are even worse, that is how bad things are at St. James’ Park.
I don’t whether to laugh or cry.
The thought of Alan Pardew’s face on Match of The Day is something that I might just want to avoid.
