Swann is also a big Newcastle fan and says he understands why supporters are so unhappy when they have an owner who has no interest in trying to win anything.

Would rather watch the match but I will be part of the boycott on Sunday. What I would like to see is my fellow supporters leaving the crap Wonka shirts at home. Bad enough seeing them on match days but don’t want to  promote them at the demonstration when no doubt the cameras will be focused on the fans.
