Spitting decision imminent as Jonny Evans pleads not guilty

Confirmed tonight that Jonny Evans has pleaded not guilty to a charge of spitting by The FA.

The FA’s Independent Regulatory Commission is meeting tonight with a decision expected to be announced tomorrow.

Papiss Cisse has already admitted his guilt and a ban of up to seven games is expected to come his way.

With the overwhelming TV evidence, the ongoing denial by Manchester United, Evans and other Man Utd apologists such as Paul Scholes, is frankluy embarrassing.

You would hope that The FA would make an example of them for not holding their hands up and give Jonny Evans a longer ban than the Newcastle striker.

The FA releasing the following on their Twitter account:

“Independent Regulatory Commission hearing tonight, decision expected tomorrow (Saturday).”

“Manchester United’s Jonny Evans denies FA charge in relation to incident involving Papiss Cisse.”
