Michael Chopra signs for Alloa today and faces Rangers tonight
Michael Chopra has signed for Scottich Championship club Alloa Athletic.
Chopra had been on trial at Port Vale after playing in the Indian Premier League.
Following an injury to key striker Greig Spence, Alloa have signed up Chopra today and he immediately goes in against Rangers tonight.

Former Newcastle United and Cardiff City striker Michael Chopra has signed for Alloa Athletic FC.
The 31-year-old had been on trial with Port Vale following his move back to the UK from India and will play for the Clackmannanshire club in tonight’s match against Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox.
Lee Ebden, Head of Player Recruitment & Chief Scout at Alloa Athletic, used his contacts to enable the club to sign Chorpa.
Due to injury to top goal scorer Greig Spence on Saturday, Paddy Connolly and the club felt it necessary to provide cover in Greig’s absence.
“On behalf of everyone at the club we would like to wish Michael Chopra a warm welcome. Now aged 31 Michael adds great experience to the Alloa Athletic squad for the final quarter of the season.”
