Louis Van Gaal looks to make it 3 defeats in row at Newcastle
Louis Van Gaal is going for three defeats in a row at St. James’ Park.
Over a period of 18 years he will make his third appearance as a manager tonight against Newcastle United, with his third different time.
Van Gaal made it three home wins in a row as a manager against Newcastle at Old Trafford on Boxing Day, having won with Barcelona 1-0 in the Champions League in Spain and in Holland 2-0 with AZ Alkmaar (4-4 and the Ditch side won on away goals rule).
However, what better portent for tonight than a returning manager who helped deliver one of the most enjoyable nights most of us have seen at St. James’ Park…
