Arsenal star goes clubbing hours after missing Newcastle through ‘illness’.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has struggled to convince fans that his £42m price tag was justified and they will have been less than impressed with the latest news surrounding him.

Whilst Arsenal were clinging on desperately to take all three points at St. James’ Park on Saturday, the German international was allowed to be absent from the squad because of illness.

It turns out Ozil wasn’t even in the country and instead was in Germany preparing for an international match against Australia on Wednesday.

Only hours after the final whistle of the win over Newcastle, Mesut Ozil was in Berlin’s ‘Pearl’ nightclub with his entourage.

The revelation published by Bild is unlikely to endear him any further to the hard to please Arsenal fans, who as usual have been calling for Arsene Wenger’s head this season.

A record of 14 wins in their last 16 matches has temporarily taken the heat off the Arsenal manager but Mesut Ozil may find it tough if he doesn’t return from international duty in top form.

What has this to do with us?

  • wor monga

Arsenal have strength in depth they don’t need Ozil to
dominate teams like us but when the Lads got their hackles up…we outclassed
them…it was the best football I’ve seen us put out against a top 4 side at SJP
for quite long time, and it showed we have enough guts, skill and the will to
beat the Mackems on their own sh*t heap down there, without a doubt

…the games all about having enough belief in what you can
achieve, and for me…against Arsenal Cabella, Ryan and Jonas have proved they
    now have it in abundance…

This season has been tough, but if we can keep on playing
like this it might be not over yet!!!

1957 maybe to provide some consolation that we are not the only club who have players who aren’t that bothered about their job.
