Updated Premier League recent form table
One of the latest features that we’ve brought through along with our brand spanking new website, is our Premier League recent form table, which you can see below.
This is updated after every set of matches and as well as featuring it in articles it can be found any time by visiting the menu at the top of this screen, click on ‘Season’ and then choose ‘Form Table’ from the drop down menu.
This Sunday sees United take on Stoke and it is part of the exciting battle to see who finishes top half or bottom half, the visitors currently sitting tenth with 32 points, 2 ahead of Newcastle in eleventh.
However, while United are also eleventh in the recent form table, Stoke are on a great run in the last half dozen games sitting fifth with 13 points compared to Newcastle’s 7.
In their last six matches they Potters have won four (3-1 v QPR, 1-0 v Leicester, 2-0 West Brom, 1-0 Everton),while they also have had an honourable 1-1 draw with Man United, the only defeat away at Arsenal 3-0.
In contrast, Newcastle picked up their first win since December beating Hull 3-0 on Saturday, to go with the 3-2 defeat of Everton, the other point coming in the 3-3 draw with Burnley. The three defeats coming against Chelsea 2-0, Southampton 2-1 and Man Utd 3-1.
A tougher match more likely in prospect on Sunday than we might have hoped.
